  • Formation of a Belize IBC – You will need to incorporate an IBC – which should be the company applying for the license.

  • The International Business company applying for the license will need to issue full shares at the time of formation of a minimum of USD 100,000 share capital.

  • The above is to satisfy the requirements that require the paid up capital to be issued in full at the time of formation. The directors and secretary of the company must be appointed by a resolution prior to the application

  • The director, secretary and shareholder of the company must all be Natural Persons and at least one of the officers of the company applying for the license have experience in Foreign Exchange. 

  • The company must open a Bank account with a Bank in Belize with US$100,000.00

  • The above deposit is to be maintained as its paid up capital at all times. The bank account opening will be required prior to the license being granted; nevertheless, you can proceed with the application and during the processing of the application the account can be opened.

  • In order to open a bank account you will need to supply us with the due diligence on all persons that are connected to the company applying for the bank account. The information listed below is what is required for the bank account.

  1. Clear notarized copies of passports for beneficial owner(s)

  2. A recent utility bill showing the physical address for the beneficial owner and shareholder of the company (not later than three months old)

  3. One character reference from a Professional Attorney or Accountant with whom the person has had no less than two years professional working experience  (not later than three months old)

  4.   Bank reference (not later than three months old)
